About Civil Safety

A Note From Our Founder...

Brandon

Owner at Civil Safety

Since 2015 I have been operating my small business, based in Ontario, through an ever-changing web of laws and regulations surrounding the products I sell. In 2022 I decided to steer the business into more neutral territory by focusing on retailing safety and survival equipment. This decision came with an abrupt rebranding. Northern Republic Magazine became Civil Safety.

Today, Civil Safety is one of Canada’s top online retailers of high-quality medical, survival, and safety gear - while still staying true to our roots as a trusted Canadian source for certain firearm accessories, and vehemently supporting the licensed firearm community in Canada.

As we see unrest in many parts of the world, and the out-of-control crime in many cities across Canada, I am reminded of why I felt the urge to dive in with both feet when implementing the concept for Civil Safety. You deserve safety. Your family deserves safety. Canadians deserve safety. Making high-quality supplies accessible to Canadian civilians is my mission at Civil Safety. It is essential for Canadians to take the responsibility for their safety into their own hands and I’m here to help them do just that.

If you have been my customer for more than 10 years or the last 5 minutes, I thank you very much for trusting in Civil Safety to deliver on the gear you need.
