Civil Safety Renews Business Membership with the Canadian Coalition for Firearm Rights (CCFR)

At Civil Safety, our mission is clear: to empower Canadians to take personal responsibility for their own safety and their family's safety by providing access to high-quality medical, survival, emergency preparedness gear, and select firearm accessories. That's why we're proud to announce that Civil Safety has once again registered as a Business Member of the Canadian Coalition for Firearm Rights (CCFR) – a commitment we've proudly maintained since 2018 (back when we operated as Northern Republic Magazine).

The CCFR remains Canada's strongest, most professional, and effective advocate for licensed firearm owners. As a non-profit, member-funded organization, they continue to:

• Mount powerful legal challenges against unconstitutional confiscation schemes and arbitrary prohibitions.
• Push for evidence-based public safety policies that target criminals, not vetted, law-abiding owners.
• Operate Canada's only in-house registered firearms lobbyist working full-time in Ottawa and provincial capitals.
• Run national public awareness campaigns and educate politicians and the public about the reality of legal firearm ownership.
• Represent hundreds of thousands of hunters, sport shooters, collectors, and everyday Canadians who simply want to exercise their property and civil rights.

In 2025, with ongoing threats to firearm rights – including broad handgun freezes, endless reclassifications, and amnesty games, and ideological attacks on licensed owners – the CCFR's work has never been more critical. Their relentless advocacy, court victories, and political pressure are the main reason many of us can still legally own and enjoy our property today.
